description

Business growth, diffusion of new technologies, business processes, project management, product development, service quality management - these are all examples of Business Dynamics applications. These are dynamic systems that are characterized by feedback loops between many different variables. Such systems are modeled using the tools of Business Dynamics. Simulations of complex systems enable the analysis, targeted design and optimization of markets, business processes, regulations and entire organizations.

target

students

  •     adopt the system thinking for economics
  •     use different methods and tools to illustrate the structure of complex economic systems
  •     are able to combine dynamic effects with these structures
  •     learn how to simulate systems with the computer for testing purposes
  •     use simulation results to improve the models
  •     can model, analyze and optimize business processes and applications both independently and in teams
  •     know how to offer Business Dynamics as a consulting service and how to work with customer teams

scrutiny

The performance review is carried out in the form of a written examination (approval) in the amount of 1h according to §4, para. 2,1 SPO and by elaboration of exercises as a performance review of a different kind according to §4, para. 2,3 SPO.

The course has been passed if 50 of the 100 points were achieved in the exam. If the exam is passed, the points of the exercise performance (maximum 10) are added to the points of the exam.
